To,
Dear Dear Beloved Parents
A kite flyer - Yes... You have been that and much more to me.
When you first saw your kite, you beamed proudly at it... at its colours -experiencing the thrill and joy of having and owning a kite of your own.
You even gave it a name never abbreviating or discounting its identity.
Soon, it was time for you to hold it in your hands...and with anxious butterflies of excitement, drift it in the air.
You also were the manja tying yourself tightly to the kite - still making sure it flies high.
The sky was beautiful with other kites too... You allowed their joyous interplay however taking gentle care to see that your kite doesn't get cut, or drift apart.
The wind blew your kite sometimes in directions other than what you thought natural but you never gave up on your kite...strongly but always sensitively directing it.
Today, your kite wants to tell you...how blessed it feels to be Yours - and with a promise that it will always fly high.
